Sitekrafters Terms of Service

Last updated: Oct 15, 2026 · @Melroy Dickson

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of sitekrafters.com and every service Sitekrafters provides. Sitekrafters is a brand of Wordkrafters Media Labs FZC, Business Centre, SPC Free Zone, PO Box 73111, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“Sitekrafters”, “we”, “us”, “our”). “You” or “the Client” means the person or business using our website or engaging our services.

By using our website, accepting a quotation, signing a proposal or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms. If a signed proposal or contract conflicts with these terms, the signed document takes priority for that project. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Services, quotes and payment

Services. We design and build corporate and ecommerce websites, Shopify stores, author websites, Amazon and noon marketplace listings, and provide SEO, maintenance and consulting. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for each project are set out in our written quotation or proposal (“the Proposal”). Anything not listed in the Proposal is out of scope.

Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise.

Payment terms. Unless the Proposal says otherwise:

Project typePayment schedule
Website and store builds50% advance to start; 50% before launch or handover
Monthly services (SEO, maintenance, listing management)Payable monthly in advance
Hourly or ad hoc workInvoiced on completion
  • Work begins only after we receive the advance payment.
  • Invoices are due within 7 days of issue.
  • All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and exclude 5% VAT, which is added where applicable.
  • Bank charges and payment gateway fees are paid by the Client.
  • If an invoice is overdue by more than 14 days, we may pause work, take the website offline from our servers, or withhold handover until payment is made.
  • Third party costs (domains, hosting, premium themes, plugins, apps, stock images, ad spend, marketplace fees) are not included unless the Proposal says so, and are paid by the Client.

3. Client responsibilities, timelines and revisions

Your responsibilities. You agree to:

  • Provide content (text, images, logos, product data, prices) in the agreed format and on time
  • Give us the account access we need (hosting, domain, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, noon, Google tools)
  • Name one point of contact who can approve work and give feedback
  • Make sure all content you supply is accurate, legal and owned or licensed by you, including trade licence, product and pricing claims

Timelines. Project dates in the Proposal are estimates that depend on timely content, feedback and payments from you. Delays on your side extend the timeline. If a project is on hold for more than 30 days because we are waiting on you, we may close it and invoice for work completed. Restarting a closed project may carry a fee.

Revisions. Each Proposal includes a set number of revision rounds (normally two per design stage). A revision round is one consolidated list of changes. Additional rounds, and changes after a stage is approved, are charged at our standard hourly rate.

Change requests. New features, pages or functions outside the Proposal are change requests. We will quote them separately, and they may change the timeline.

4. Delivery, hosting and third party platforms

Approval and launch. We will share work for review on a staging link. Your written approval (email or WhatsApp is enough) confirms the work meets the Proposal. If you do not respond within 10 working days of a final delivery, the work is treated as approved. Using the website or store live also counts as approval.

Domains and hosting. Domains and hosting should be registered in your name. If we register them for you, we do so as your agent and will transfer them to you on request once all invoices are paid. You are responsible for renewals unless we have agreed in writing to manage them. We are not liable for loss of a domain, email or website caused by a missed renewal or a hosting provider’s failure.

Third party platforms. Many of our services run on platforms we do not control, such as Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Amazon, noon, Google and Meta, and on third party themes, plugins, apps and payment gateways. Their terms, fees, policies, outages and changes apply to you directly. We are not responsible for account suspensions, listing removals, policy changes or algorithm updates by these platforms, though we will help where we reasonably can.

Browsers and devices. We build and test for the current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) on desktop and mobile. Support for older browsers is not included unless stated.

5. SEO and marketing results

Search engines, AI search tools and marketplaces control their own rankings and change them often. We follow recognised best practice, but we do not guarantee any specific ranking, traffic, sales, reviews or return on investment. Results depend on factors outside our control, including competition, platform algorithms, your products, pricing and budget.

We use only ethical, guideline compliant methods. We are not responsible for penalties caused by work done by you or other providers before, during or after our engagement.

6. Intellectual property and confidentiality

Your content. You keep ownership of everything you supply to us. You give us a licence to use it only to deliver your project.

Final deliverables. Once you have paid all invoices in full, ownership of the final custom designs and website content we create for you passes to you. Until then, it remains ours and you may not use it.

What stays ours. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries, templates, frameworks and know-how. Where these form part of your deliverables, you receive a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use them for your website or store.

Third party assets. Themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and apps remain subject to their own licences.

Portfolio and credit. Unless you ask us not to in writing, we may show the finished work in our portfolio, case studies and social media, and place a small “Designed by Sitekrafters” credit in the website footer.

Confidentiality. Both parties will keep the other’s confidential information private and use it only for the project. This includes login credentials, business plans, pricing and customer data. This duty continues after the project ends. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Warranty, support and liability

Bug fix warranty. For 30 days after launch, we will fix, free of charge, any errors in the work we built that stop it working as described in the Proposal. This does not cover problems caused by changes made by you or others, third party updates, hosting issues, or new requests.

Support and maintenance. After the warranty period, updates, backups, security patches and support are available under a separate maintenance plan or at our hourly rate. You are responsible for keeping regular backups unless we manage them under a plan.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by UAE law:

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project in the 3 months before the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, revenue, data, sales or business opportunity.
  • We are not liable for losses caused by hacking, malware, platform outages, third party services or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

Indemnity. You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs arising from content or materials you supplied, your products or services, or your breach of these terms or of any law.

8. Cancellation, refunds and termination

  • Advance payments are non-refundable once work has started, as they secure our team’s time.
  • If you cancel a project, you pay for all work completed up to the cancellation date, plus any third party costs already incurred.
  • Monthly services can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Fees for the current month are not refunded.
  • Either party may end a project immediately if the other seriously breaches these terms and does not fix the breach within 14 days of written notice.
  • On termination, we will hand over completed work and account access once all amounts due are paid.

9. Use of our website

The content on sitekrafters.com is for general information. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse our website content, designs or branding without permission. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Non-solicitation

During a project and for 12 months after it ends, you agree not to directly hire or engage any Sitekrafters employee or freelancer who worked on your project, without our written consent.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Both parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith within 30 days. If that fails, the dispute will be referred to the competent courts of Sharjah, UAE.

12. General

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on our website at the date of your Proposal applies to that project. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. We may use trusted freelancers and partners to deliver parts of your project, and remain responsible for their work.
